Around the year 2015, I noticed that my head full of hair was breaking & thinning. I had been perming my hair, and was using flat or curling irons for many years. I started researching the reason why this was happening to my hair. 

Shortly after researching, I discovered that the breaking & thinning of my hair was due to chemicals from the perming creams, excessive heat from hair dryers, and also from curling irons and flat irons. This set me on a path to research about non-chemical alternatives for hair.
